MEET THE SENIORS REALTOR

SPECIALIZING IN 55+ COMMUNITIES

Geraldine “Gerry” Seylaz is a full time professional Realtor actively involved with area real estate for the past 13 years. As a broker, sales associate with RE/MAX Classic Group, Basking Ridge and Berkeley Heights, she has added the SENIORS REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST designation to her impressive resume. Seniors Real Estate Specialists are Realtors qualified to meet the special needs and concerns of maturing Americans. While still actively involved in offering real estate assistance to ALL buyers and sellers, she will focus on seniors concerns when they seek her expertise. As a realtor, Gerry will provide information on alternative life styles, assistance in preparing a home for market, list of qualified discounted service providers and an aggressive marketing program to enable seniors to continue life on their terms.

In addition to real estate, which is her primary concern, she has partnered with a Certified Senior Advisor who will provide initial advice and assistance in financial and legal matters, answering some of the complicated issues facing the adult community today. Financial issues such as reverse mortgages, equity line of credit and tax implications will be discussed. Legal issues such as wills, power of attorney, trusts and advanced directives will be explained. This service is free of charge to her buyers and sellers.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE

My experience as Sales Manager for Villa Domenico, an Adult Community in Watchung, inspired me to pursue the SRES designation.

Over the past several years I have interacted with approximately 400 seniors, with an awareness of their requirements and concerns.  While addressing their real estate needs, I have established many valuable friendships.  Interaction with these buyers and sellers has provided hands on experience and I feel confident in my ability to be of service to the 55+ segment of the market.

I pledge to provide a quality of service geared to addressing their specific issues, with constant attention from listing to closing.  I will continue to offer expert service to ALL buyers and sellers.
